This drawing evokes a sense of peace and relief with the man opening his body up and facing the sky. If you look closely, you can see the scars marked all over his body, which can be understood as the damages he has faced from others or his fight. These scars can also be discussed in a deeper sense of mental scars as well. Yet, his extremely toned muscular figure shows his efforts to keep improving and bettering himself despite hardship. Which from another person's perspective could be the efforts of choosing to always try and improve yourself despite who you’ve lost, how the world around you responds to your efforts or has affected you.

What I love about this drawing is that there is no indication whether he has won or lost his battle, yet still stands tall, opening himself up in relief, because he is finally at peace with himself.

To the viewer of this piece: I hope you can connect with this drawing from your own perspective.
